Val Nichas is Group Chief Executive Officer of Spur Corporation, in the role since January 2021.

Spur Corporation is a South African restaurant franchise group whose brands include Spur Steak Ranches, Panarottis, RocoMamas and John Dory's. Nichas took over during the Covid-19 lockdowns and the group's market capitalisation has since more than doubled to about R3.5 billion.
