CEO Mag profiles the people who run South African companies and the companies they run. A profile is a record of public facts, not an interview and not an advertisement.

What a profile contains

The role and the date it started, the career before it, education where the person has published it, the company’s founding, head office, listing and its latest reported size, and dated decisions taken in the job. Every profile lists its sources and the date its facts were last checked.

Sources we accept

Company announcements and integrated reports, JSE SENS announcements, regulator filings and reputable published journalism. A press release on its own is not enough for a claim about results.

Submitted profiles

Anyone connected to a company can submit a profile. Before anything is published we check the person holds the role, check the company against its own website and the public record, and rewrite the submission in our house style. Submissions are free. Paid content is never published as a profile.

Corrections

Facts change: a CEO steps down, a company reports new results. If a profile is out of date or wrong, send the page and the correct fact with a source through the submission form and say it is a correction. We update the profile and its checked date.
