Tommie van Zyl is Chief Executive Officer of ZZ2, in the role since 2001.

ZZ2 is a family-owned Limpopo farming group best known for tomatoes, which has expanded into avocados, cherries, blueberries, almonds, apples, pears and Namibian dates. Van Zyl received an honorary doctorate in agriculture from Stellenbosch University in 2022.
