Young-soo Shin is Chief Executive Officer of M-TEC.

M-TEC is a cable manufacturer in Vereeniging that makes copper products, power cables and optical fibre cables, established in 2000 through an investment by Korea's Taihan. In October 2025 it announced a R110 million expansion of its plant.
