Richard Floyd is Founder and CEO of Aurous Resources, in the role since January 2015.

Aurous Resources owns the Blyvooruitzicht and Doornfontein gold mines and the Gauta tailings retreatment project on the West Rand. Floyd bought the assets in 2015, and the mines now produce about 25 000 oz of gold a year.
