Nomfundo Maseti is Acting Chief Executive Officer of Nersa, in the role since October 2026.

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) regulates electricity, piped gas and petroleum pipelines. Maseti, a full-time regulator member responsible for piped-gas regulation, was appointed acting CEO from 25 October 2026 after the extended term of Nomalanga Sithole expired.
