Nikki Mbengashe is Chief Executive Officer of Postbank, in the role since July 2023.

Postbank is the state-owned retail bank that was separated from the South African Post Office and pays social grants to Sassa beneficiaries. Mbengashe was appointed for a five-year term in July 2023 and, within weeks, was fronting the fix of grant payment errors after the board resigned.
