Neil Gopal is Chief Executive Officer of SAPOA, in the role since June 2004.

SAPOA is the South African Property Owners Association, the industry body for commercial property owners, which reached its 60th year in 2026 with 593 member companies. Gopal was marked in 2024 for 20 years as chief executive and also chaired the international regional council of the US-based Building Owners and Managers Association in 2014-15.
