James Holley is Chief Executive Officer of Traxtion.

Traxtion is a South African private rail operator and rolling stock provider with operations in several African countries. In December 2025 it announced a R3.4 billion programme to buy 46 locomotives and 920 wagons ahead of the opening of Transnet's network to private operators.
