Hendri Hanekom is Chief Executive Officer of Intercare, in the role since April 2026.

Intercare is a South African private primary care group running medical and dental centres, day hospitals and physical rehabilitation hospitals for about 1.5 million patients a year. Hanekom is the first successor to co-founder Hendrik Hanekom, who became Executive Vice Chairman.
