Beth Arendse is Chief Executive Officer of Business and Arts South Africa, in the role since July 2025.

Business and Arts South Africa (Basa) was founded in 1997 as a joint initiative of government and the private sector to encourage corporate investment in the arts. Arendse took over with a plan to revamp its membership tiers.
