Andries van Heerden is Chief Executive Officer of Afrimat, in the role since November 2006.

Afrimat is a JSE-listed mining and construction materials group, formed in 2006 through the merger of Prima Quarries and the Lancaster Group. It reported revenue of R10.0 billion for the year to February 2026 and sold quarries and readymix plants to Saturc in 2026 to meet Competition Tribunal conditions on its Lafarge South Africa acquisition.
