André Moolman is Chief Executive Officer of Ener-G-Africa.

Ener-G-Africa (EGA) is a Malawi-founded solar and clean energy manufacturer that assembles panels for residential, commercial and agricultural customers at a plant in Paarl, Western Cape. The Paarl line has capacity of about 150 MW and is staffed by an all-female assembly team.

  1. Ener-G-Africa said its R135-million South African investment had launched a cookstove manufacturing line in Paarl and expanded its solar panel production capacity from 15 MW to 500 MW. Source

  2. Ener-G-Africa opened its solar panel assembly plant in Paarl, able to produce panels from 5W up to 620W. Source

  3. EGA commissioned the Paarl line, which runs a single shift with around 30 employees and is moving into production ramp-up. Source
